Lurking in the Shadows for Joseph Gordon-Levitt
This Month we will be lurking in the darkness of cinemas for Joseph Gordon-Levitt
Remember that kid from Third Rock from the Sun that looked like a girl?
Tommy.
You remember with the fanny parting and hound dog eyes?
Well, the dodgy Hanson Brothers hairdo was sorted while the hound dog eyes remained and from the ashes of a 90′s sitcom rose a damn fine actor.
Joseph Gordon-Levitt has played a cool hand in his career, opting for little indie films like Ten Things I Hate About You and Brick. Success hasn’t been overnight but he’s always been on our radar and in the last two years his Hollywood rep has grown to new heights.
Levitt appeared in indie anti-romcom 500 Days of Summer in 2009 which, thank god, made everyone forget about his turn in GI Joe: Rise of the Cobra that year and the little indie flick even won him a golden globe.
Since then Levitt has been inundated with offers for every quirky character on the mainstream circuit, but keeping his feet on the ground and playing it smart he’s opted for well written scripts and is working with the crème de’la crème of cinema.
Having played a blinder in Inception as right hand man to Leonardo Di’Caprio, JGL is enjoying fame and taking it in his stride. A superb streak for great comedic timing and a geek-boy next door persona means could lead to his being pigeon holed, but Levitt is a canny young thing and is playing the waiting game, biding his time for the clever and more challenging scripts.
With one of the most expressive faces in cinema and a rep for being one of the cool kids of young Hollywood Joseph has been brushing off gay rumours with ease and getting his own back on those untrained and amateur stalkers known as the paparazzi.
JGL is here to stay and we hope those Riddler rumours hold true because, damn! He’d be’d be brilliant.

And just incase you weren’t convinced……..
